I believe that the ticketing process was handled poorly. It was far too difficult for locals to acquire tickets.

News reports say there are tickets being turned in every day so it might pay off to keep in contact with various outlets and Craigs list. They will be pricey but its once in a lifetime!
Eldorado - can you forward me an example of this? I am wondering what you mean by "turned in", and how media is finding out about this. Craigslist I can understand, but are there are places where tickets are being bought/sold/traded?

I really wish tickets where more widely available to the average joe, and not so expensive. =(
I agree, even if the tickets become more available now, I don't think I can afford it still.

I am interested in some tickets to some events, like louge or ski jumping, anyone selling tix?
Look at craigslist. Not sure if its legit or allowed, but people are selling there. Search for the word tickets on the vancouver page.
