Does anyone know if the snowboard event is in Whistler or Vancouver?
News1130 reports that Cypress Mtn is moving to Plan C - theyre building the course with straw and wood and then trucking in the snow theyve saved, to build on top. Is that going to work?!?!?
hmmm...and if it continues being warm, how will they make sure all that trucked-in snow doesn't melt? Whatever happened to making snow on the spot? They do this east coast all the time. This just seems so weird...did they not plan for this eventuality? Seems like a last ditch idea...
